CAMA is now accepting comments to the North Carolina Turnpike Authority’s application for a permit to construct the Mid-Currituck Bridge.\u00a0 A total of 4 permits are needed to move the project forward. This is the 3rd of 4.\u00a0 No permits to date have been issued.<\/p>\n

We suggest that the CAMA permit should not be issued unless and until the 401 and 404 permits are issued.<\/p>\n

There is no viable way currently to pay the $1 BILLION price tag.\u00a0 NCTA recently failed to receive a $425 million dollar grant from the federal government.<\/p>\n
